NAD Hybrid Digital DAC Amplifier - C 399 BluOS
C 399 HybridDigital DAC Amplifier
The C 399 brings technology developed for NAD's Masters Series into the Classic Series platform. Its HybridDigital nCore amplification delivers 180 watts per channel with the current capability, low distortion and control needed to drive demanding loudspeakers with ease.
A flexible selection of digital, analogue, HDMI eARC and phono connections makes the C 399 a versatile hub for music and television, while NAD's MDC2 expansion architecture allows the system to evolve with optional BluOS streaming and Dirac Live room correction.
Key Features
High-Current Power and Precision
NAD's HybridDigital nCore amplifier platform gives the C 399 clean, effortless power and excellent control. Rated at 180 watts per channel into 8 ohms, it maintains wide bandwidth, stable performance and very low distortion, helping preserve musical dynamics even with demanding loudspeakers.
Clear, Dynamic Digital Performance
A carefully engineered digital architecture is designed for low noise, precise imaging and wide dynamic range. The result is an open and natural presentation that reveals texture and fine detail from high-resolution files and other digital sources, with support for audio up to 24-bit/192 kHz.
Built for the Future with MDC2
Two MDC2 expansion slots give the C 399 a practical upgrade path as listening technologies change. The optional MDC2 BluOS-D module adds BluOS high-resolution streaming, multi-room playback and Dirac Live room correction, allowing advanced processing to work with sources connected to the amplifier.
Versatile Connections for Every Source
HDMI eARC, optical and coaxial digital inputs, analogue inputs and a dedicated moving-magnet phono stage make it easy to connect televisions, turntables and traditional hi-fi sources. Dual subwoofer outputs, two pairs of speaker terminals, Bluetooth with aptX HD and a dedicated headphone amplifier provide further system flexibility.
